Hello Kansas...Good Bye Michigan

Tomorrow Kevin and I are embarking on a brand knew adventure. We Accepted a ministry position in Overland Park, KS. We will be tag teaming this position as children's and family life pastors! I am so looking forward to working, living, and loving with my main squeeze. I am amazed at how quickly everything has gone since we accepted the position officially this past Wed. and I and the kids will be leaving tomorrow morning to drive 10 and a half hours to be there for VBS and many other exciting events that were already planned for the summer. Owen is pumped because there will be a pool where we will be staying:) Havilah doesn't really get it and likes saying the word Kansas. Things have been a little hectic, but I have felt God's hand through it all. Just this week at a district conference Dr. Jo Anne Lyon spoke and I was impacted greatly by her journey as a woman in ministry and the power God displays through her life. The saying that ran over and over in my head this past two days was "for such a time as this". Kevin and I believe we are on the verge of something big that God is doing...in our lives and in our ministry. Well I must return to my packing...next time I write I will be in Kansas:)
